Have not followed any of your preseason games.

How are things shaping up with the new additions and Connely(sp?)? It will be interesting to see if Rinaldo can be a positive addition,

poop, really......? I thought it was an upper body?

If it is the hip then this is not good. It has been his hip that has been an issue since the Hawks series.

Chara was on the ice for 10 of the last 12 goals in that series and hasn't been the same since then.

I've heard it's a rib injury to Chara. Which makes sense when you watch the hit. No matter what the injury, at his age, I'm hoping he doesn't play if he's not 100%. With Seidenberg out, he may be feeling the pressure to suck it up and play hurt, which in my opinion would be a terrible decision. We need him in top form. Bite the bullet and play without him now, let him recover, and have a healthy Chara for the long haul.

I've been a huge Eriksson fan since he's come to the team, and feel he's never gotten a fair shot at playing on the top lines (or the credit he deserves for his play while skating with lugs most of the time, for that matter) I have a feeling he's going to shine this year IF he gets steady time with Bergy and Marchy

I would still love to see a Ericksson, Spooner, Pasta line............Ericksson is so great in all three zone that the line would just dominate! But, he really is a stud. Especially in front of the net, he can finish!

The thing with Chara is that he lasted 2 shifts into a preseason game before he got injured........maybe we try to up his stock and see if a potential contender will give us a couple firsts?

Ericksson will score more goals overall. His PP numbers will be great, as usual. Only chance that Beleskey has is hits...........I bet Ericksson has almost the same hits as Belesky when the season ends anyways........

No faith in him eh? PIMs and Hits were my thoughts. Thanks for your thoughts though.
This may be the most blatantly obviously post yet, but I hope Boston does well this year. And that would include Belesky, Hayes, and Connolly developing into 2nd line talents

I like the injury, allowed me to pick him up 187th overall in fantasy. Sit him on IR. Then watch him rake up the Hits and PP Points.

But in all seriousness, it allows Boston to really decide which rookie should be staying with the big club. Instead of just the preseason stints, Coach will be able to look at who the best fit is.
