Pumped to see hockey back! Should be an interesting night that's for sure. Looks like guys on the bubble who are getting a look/chance are Poirier, Wotherspoon, Wilson, Klimchuk, Agostino and Hunter Smith. I think Agostino is underated, I hope he sticks around for a bit. Would be great on the 4th line IMO.

Although it'll be interesting to see the final roster, I am even more excited to see what Gaudreau can do this season.

Wotherspoon needs to step it up a notch, Morrison is ready to I think. Watching morrison in those prospect games its looked like he was trying to hard to impress by quarterbacking the point (just like the early brodie days when brodie tried to do it all and got sent back down).

Nakadal can be a sleeper to.

Those PTO players I don't think really have a chance and its more a case of keeping stocked in case theres any more moves to be made.

I really really really hope Kylington goes to play in Brandon with my boy Provorov. It could be great for their development.

Yeah I am not too sure about Kylington. There's no way he falls to us for no reason. We'll see. Maybe he just needs to grow up?

I think granlund is going to be a better player then both. And we have JG, Money, poirier, Bennet, frolik, backs, colborne, ferland, all ahead of them in roles that they can easily handle for the next 5 yrs. As well as Jooris and granlund(I think he'll be a sleeper in a few years).

Haha....fair enough I think there's room for them though. Poirier isn't out of the woods yet either. He's in the same boat as Klimchuk as far as I am concerned. Kid hasn't done poop.

Totally agree ...they are basically both prospects on the outside looking in right now ....as for jooris and granlund im sold that they are nhlers but not sold they will be flames by April

I think you're selling Klimchuk short. He has an elite quick release and tremendous accuracy with his shot.

its early, but id take granlund over him.

I'm just saying I think a player like poirier is going to exceed because theres a need on the roster for him on that right side.

Klimchuk is going to get lost in the mix unless he wows them. He's not a 4th line player and theres a lot of players with in 2yrs of him vying for that LW position for 3rd...possibly 2nd line. So i see him as a good piece to help feel weak areas in the prospect pool. Flames are lw/C heavy for players getting ready to make that jump to the NHL in 1-2years...great position for the team.

They can't be all Jonny's and Monny's and Bennett's. We were spoiled by them and now everybodies got a sweet tooth and we're kicking them out the door at 20 yrs old. Pull your collective heads of of your arsses and let them grow for gosh sakes.

Yea, im with you here. Klimchuk especially. I mean for F sakes, he hasn't even started his ELC yet. In 3 years he could be a real solid top 6 option. Lots of development still to go for both of these kids. Shake your heads boys.
