Hope Ike has a better showing than he did at the Blue and Gold Scrum.

Eh. I'm not gonna put a ton of weight into that. I think he was a bit shell shocked by the whole thing. Especially since 17,000 fans showed up to a development camp scrimmage in the middle of July.

He looked much better and more relaxed in the 3 on 3 tournament they did to close out camp.

Holy poop. Two accidents in the Southtowns this morning: one on the 400 between Union and the 90, and then one on the 90 East just past the 400. Good thing my commute takes me the opposite direction.

Luckily my commute starts further up the 90 from there. I was wondering why the traffic seemed so light on 90 East by William, but then I heard that there was an accident by the 400 and it made sense.

Combine some of the blogs. Instead of doing each person, group them by lines or D pairings. Especially for the bottom tier guys.

Just a thought. Might make things a bit easier for you to squeeze everything in. We certainly do appreciate all the great info though.

Not to mention the fatal a few days ago in Depew. People in this town drive like their hair is on fire. Glad I work at home.

That accident happened right in front of a house of someone my best friend knows. They were in their basement at the time of the accident. Said the whole house shook. She heard that the truck that caused the accident was going about 80 mph. Why you would need to do 80 on that street makes no sense to me whatsoever. I used to live in that area and there's no reason for that kind of driving through there.

I know that area as well. 80 mph down French Road is just nuts. It's sheer luck there weren't more fatalities in the car.

I believe the speed limit there is only 30.

It is. Not to mention there are stop signs on either side of where that accident happened. I can't even fathom what the hell the driver of the truck was thinking.

Nope. I'm probably just gonna get tickets when I get to the game tomorrow. I may stop over at the box office in the morning (it should be open since there's an event in the evening.) But it depends on how ambitious I'm feeling. I have to go check on my grandfather to make sure he doesn't need anything. Figured I'd stop at Mayer Bros and get him some cider and donuts too.

I have 2 tickets I'm not going to use if you want for free?? Only issue is I'm coming in from CT with the family and probably won't get there until just before game time. Section 105, row 9.

I am definitely interested to see how Eichel and Reinhart are used. I kind of hope they play both games, but since they are pushing for the big club they may not.

I bet they're in both. Those are the two guys they want to evaluate the most. The rest are all going to be going back to Jr or the AHL.

I actually need 3, but thanks for the offer.

I think we're going to shoot for the 200 level. I love the view from there and since it's too damn expensive to sit there for a regular season NHL game, I take advantage of these other games when I can.

Agreed but it would be nice to see him rip this one up.

They absolutely do. Every time I leave the Buffalo area, the moment I'm within the "Greater Buffalo" area I know it because within seconds there is some guy driving like a complete jerk. All this and we have virtually no traffic problems around here. Totally unjustifiable.
