12 minutes and not one post...sad people

The offer sheet route is one that gets me thinking...

Does he or doesn't he.

There is still work to be done like you said.

Tomorrow should be interesting.

Unless it's for a d-man the 2016 1st should be going nowhere.

I don't think we'll offer sheet anyone, especially for anything more than I think 5.18 or something like that Million a year, whatever is the cut off.

I'd love playoffs and come February I'll have wide eyes and hope again but we didn't go through suffering for a one and done in the playoffs. No need to sell everything to win now when this team is built for the future. 20 point increase next year would be monumental and also I think doable and as long as the hockey is once again fun to watch I'll be happy.

Aav for Hamilton will come in around $5.75. Paperwork is still being processed.

Sweeney franked that up bad...

Also I am seeing rumblings that Sweeney shook Lombardi's hand that he wouldn't send Jones to the Pacific division...

Lucic deal actually ended up being very good for them. They just need to do a better job making the picks.
CoHo going to TO would be funny. Our forwards will light him up like a pinball machine. He really looked like he had no idea where to be on defense.

It's pretty impressive that Michael's Sabres blogs get a ton more posts than most of the other teams. It show the quality of the Sabre fan and the blog. Not kissing butt, the proof is there. I saw flyers and islander blogs the other day that were 8 hours old and had like 25 posts. Michael's pre-draft and draft blogs had close to 2,000 I think.

I'm not too psyched about the D free agent list. And our prospect cupboards have certainly taken some hits. So, depending on the deal, I'd be hesitant to trade for D right now. Especially if other GMs are expecting TM to pay a high price in any trade.

Should I be warming up to a possible Francois Beau pick up? He's old but played very well.

Yeah, didn't know too much about him (Francois), but he's a minute eater and has played alongside a lot of youngsters. Oduyla will be too $$ and Martin I guess plays Right D. Sekera would probably be ideal, but, all things being equal, I don't see him coming back.

Overall, its impressive that Oiler and Sabre blogs are consistently the most posted blogs. Two long suffering teams with fans that have the most to say.

Oduya wouldn't be a bad pickup for the next 3 years.

I wouldn't mind trading Folingo and a pick in next years draft for a decent LH D as well.

Yeah, Ive put the ideas of Sekera and O'Douls out of my head. Is Johnny Moore worth thinking about?

You have to look at this years D free agent additions as basically a bandaid while we rebuild and the cupboard is reloaded. The top 3 kids we have all are starters (Risto, Pysk, & McCabe). A guy like Martin allows the team time to keep growing the youngsters correctly. Remember also people last year discounted Strallmans addition with Hedman and they became a lockdown pair. Not impossible we sign someone for Risto that similar happens, maybe not as fast of growth considering hes played a year but similar.

Yea but they traded him because he wasn't getting along with anyone in that lockerroom not because they couldn't sign him.

Sabres need a top line RWer, a top 4 LHD, and maybe a backup goalie

Get me:

Jason Pomminville trade Foligno and next years first
Johnny Oduya 4 years 20 million

Yay or nay on Pommer?
