Obviously. They are a mess.
And don't get me wrong. I'd love to be sitting 2 cups in 4 yrs. But they are in a pickle.
Guy like TT is in for some money. A ton a super long term contracts that are gonna be moved without either eating money or giving away assets

Lets get one thing straight here Jason....if I lost my job I'd probably be on the golf course two days later, it's therapeutic and it's a place I'd go for the support of my buddies, who all golf. It's not remotely the same as going to Vegas for hookers and blow!!

But that's just me

Mad because 6 days later the players are in Vegas?

I guess the appropriate response would be a month long mourning session, black clothes, EMO music, Xanax...

Get real...

The Kings had a bad year, but will bounce back next season. The team has depth and is built for the playoff's. Sometimes when things like this happen it's a good thing. They will finish ahead of VAN imo.

Stoll didn't lose his job until he went to Vegas. He was still in the running for the 3rd line center position.

WTH does that have to do with the blog in which Jason equated Stoll's actions to showing up on a golf course the week you've been fired??

"In short, it probably was not smart to cut out to Vegas and display such a carefree attitude that shortly after your season ended and you ultimately failed. That is like getting fired from your job and showing up to the golf course later that week to play a few rounds. It does not come across very well."

They're in a pickle, but glad to hear Brown, Toffoli, and others are sticking around to train extra hard over the summer.

Well I sure hope Brown is sticking around for some extra training. He's been in a decline the last few years, especially last year. He had what, 25pts. That's just laughable for a guy that we are used to seeing put up 50-60pts with about 20goals a year. And that damn pull and drag move that he tries every single time he enters the O zone . Maybe we won't see 60pts again but anything is better then how he played last year.

Guaranteed many of the player's do it. People would be surprised how many people in general do it. I think the biggest thing is the addition of the mdma that he was trying to smuggle in.

What would LA be willing to give up in order to rid themselves of Mike Richards forever? Certainly no one would take him for his skill, and I don't read enough on LA to know, but if a team with a ton of cap room asked for your 1st rounder this year and everything Richards related else goes away, would you take it?

Ryan Malone was busted and he still got a job. Idk I think stoll gets a contract next year just not in LA and not over 1.5 mil.

If somebody took Richards off our hands but demanded our first round pick I would be OK with it. The Kings are built to win now and any player they pick likely will not make an impact for a few years. That being said they already traded their 1st round pick next year in the Sekera deal, not having a 1st round pick 2 years in a row is less than ideal. Ultimately I think the prospect pool in L.A. has enough depth to be able to make a move if it involves getting rid of MR.

Hockey is family viewing, having guys on the coca isn't conducive to maintaining or increasing that audience. The oilers got away with it cuz no one was arrested by the so called police in Edmonton.

I refuse to support the thugs in the NBA and NFL.. Never watch regular season games, or NBA playoffs, and only watched the Superbowl all season.

Too many criminals. Not enough guys like David Robinson playing in the NBA.

Fans and management not being happy with players that don't seem to be upset long enough after either missing the playoffs or losing in the playoffs reminds me of when a parent gets so mad at their kid for something the kid did wrong and then the parent becomes even more angry when the kid shakes it off faster than the parent does.

Too funny. It's a control thing. It doesn't mean the player doesn't care.

If he can stop thinking he's Crosby with all the fancy moves he tries he'd be a lot better.

I think he'll have a bounce back year unlike Richards
