If Arizona dangled the pick, they'd get a bidding war and get a lot more than just a 2nd for that pick. If NHL scouts know much about these guys, that's essentially like trading for a 1st overall most years.

Been following him since his rookie year in the WHL, have always read articles with him in it not once have I seen anyone say anything remotely close to that. He has looked great in all the top prospects games he has played in. I'm curious if you have a link to something that backs up that statement.

We would probably have to add to that to move up to there. No way a team trades down from Strome to Barzal/Provorov for an additional 2nd. Now maybe if Gelly was added.

I'd be pretty annoyed. Nothing against Carlo but I want 3 forwards. There will very likely be two of Bracco, Greenway, Yan, Beauvillier, Roslovic, Korostelev, Novak, Guryanov, and Eriksson-Ek around that we can't pass up the opportunity to bolster our offensive prospect pool.

Realistic hope: Rantanen, Yan, Roslovic

Prediction: Barzal, Andersson, Roslovic

Probably best for him. Wouldn't you rather him get 25 minutes at BC being a leader, than lesser minutes in the NHL or AHL. He'll leave after this upcoming season, school that is.

Looked good at the WJC. Did play on a Tri City team that was less to be desired. Don't think he'll drop to the 2nd round, just based on him being a RHS and his size.

Wow, that guy almost died two months ago due to a head injury, as in hit his head off the ice so hard he went into convulsions and spent weeks in a hospital. Interesting move.
