Considering Chicago didnt score a single goal on the power play in game 3 how was it won on the powerplay?

DING DING DING! Thank you! Chicago crushed the Preds in Game 3. No Weber and no Fisher hurt, but Chicago won that game in every aspect.

Truth be damned...whatever helps move your narrative forward.

I also love the idea of this guy questioning someone else's professionalism

Dude what's it matter to you? If you don't like the way the guy writes, then how about this... Don't (frank)ing read it. It's not that hard? I'm trying SO HARD to not let Chicago fan's female doging bother me... but it's not working. The hawks have a great team, the hawks are a lot of peoples favorites to win the cup, they're leading the series, they have an awesome core, darling is a stud... why the (frank) do you still feel an incessant need to b!tch?

Despite the 6-2 drubbing in game 3 this is about as close a series statistically as you'll find. The Preds lead most categories but it's hardly a runaway as suggested. In fact, the 2 biggest differences are Shots & Shots blocked. All others are very close.

FO and 5 on 5 have both been fairly close with the Hawks having the ST edge by one more goal on the PP and one on a delayed call. Should be another good match up tonight. The Preds know they will have an extremely difficult time winning 3 straight if they lose tonight so they are sure to come out flying. The Hawks should realize this as well and just weather the first 7-10 minutes and try to take advantage of any poorly timed pinches by the Preds D men. Both goalies need to stand tall!

It's all part of my charm and charisma...

Oh and by the way, who appointed you the guy who tells everyone what they can and can not say on the interweb?!

He's a hack...he takes every chance he can to belittle the Hawks, Chicago, it's fans and the Hawks blogger on here. and yet he makes a blatant mistake in his column based on nothing but laziness......

Seriously though, a Philadelphia fan lecturing......well, anyone about fandom?! Don't you have snowballs and "boo's" to throw at santa?

Hawks can't match the Preds' speed...

How does anyone write that with a straight face?

Rosival notwithstanding...

OTOH Hawks have been giving up too many shots all year...

I don't know quite agree with the statement that Chicago wants to "slow the game down." The 'Hawks never want to slow the game down, or at least have not over the past several seasons. They want space; want speed. It opens up their transition game to exploit match-ups

Nashville has been playing the 'Hawks tough as they always have - gumming up the neutral zone and keeping that track-meet game style from igniting. Game two wasn't about a mis-match of speed, it was about bad goals and lost puck battles. Sure, Stalberg has blown by some defenders (he'll do that, we remember), and Craig Wilson has made a couple of Chicago's long-in-the-tooth d-men look, well, as slow as we all know they are.

If the Preds are going to get back in this series, in my opinion, they're going have to do what other teams who've outlasted the 'Hawks in the playoffs have done -keep gumming up that neutral zone and keep their forwards on the boards in the offensive zone. Hammer their d-men down low and put tons of traffic out front. This team does not have the talent at forward to get into a track meet with Chicago, If that's their plan, series over in 5.

I think this one goes six to Chicago at this point, especially if Weber doesn't come back. But full marks to the Preds' D, they played really well in his absence. Just missing that physical force down low and that evil shot.

Show me where I said what you can and can't say...... I'm just wondering why you read his articles if you don't like what he has to say? He's a PREDATORS writer... not an unbiased nhl writer. His target audience are preds fans... not hawks fans, so he's not gonna write about how great he thinks the hawks are... he's not writing to appease you, your friends who root for the hawks, or anyone else in the hawks fanbase and that's fine... that's why hockey buzz has a writer for (just about) each and every team. Go read Meltzer, or cordell, or tony dean if you want (mostly) unbiased writing. Problem is... you're really never going to find a 100% unbiased writer because at some point, they all have had ties to teams.

Just cool your poop dude. We all know the hawks are gonna win the series, then hawks fans can go and b!tch daily on Minnesota's or stl's comment boards for god knows what reasons...

On a side note: your comments and attempts at offending/ insulting/ chirping/ sh!t talking me about my fave team shows a lot about your character. Look at my original comment... I never once made any stabs at you or your allegiances. I simply asked why you feel the need to read his articles if you don't like them, and then I was simply wondering that if you don't like what a regional writer has to write, why read it? it's stupid. But then to even go on and comment about it? even more stupid. What's your complaining gonna do? change the way paul writes? do you really think that he'll maybe see it and start praising Chicago in his articles? You complaining does NOTHING. On top of that- to even think that any of these writers truly give a (frank) about what a rival organization's fan thinks of their writing is just comical.

This has to be one of the more frustrating "writers" on the website. I think it takes away from the quality of the Preds hockey team and fans. The Preds are a great team, and despite key injuries are VERY much so in this series. It could easily be a 2-1 Preds lead.

I was at the Preds/Canucks game at the end of the season, my first game at Bridgestone, and it was well populated with knowledgeable fans.

This writer takes away from the Preds community in my opinion.

I'm not wasting my own personal time arguing with you anymore. you act extremely arrogant , it appears that no rational thinking goes on in your head, and you clearly can't have a level headed and unbiased view of the hockey/ sports world. I've said what I have to say, if you have any other questions, refer to my previous posts. Be good brother, peace always, and good luck to the hawks on the rest of their journey. Hope my ex flyer timonen can stop sucking ass, contribute, and help win a cup. no one deserves it more in the nhl than he does. would like to see the preds, hawks, or jets to come out of the west.

Fact checking? what kind? You want me to PM paul and ask him what exactly?

"hey paul, remember that d!ck head that criticized your writing the other day? (and not constructively, more just criticizing to be a Richard), are you going to start praising the hawks more in your articles because of it? Are you going to stop writing things in your articles so that hawks fans won't be sad? they really don't like what you say about their 1st class organization. Sorry to bother you like this, but I'm in an argument with another headstrong hawks fan and I need to 'fact check'. "

Pekka Rinne really needs to get his game together, and if he does, that will be the determining factor in this series. The Preds are for real, as evidenced by this series. Glad to see how level the playing field is in the NHL now, it is anyone's series and out of all the teams it is anyone's cup (Well maybe not this year for Sens/Jets )

Thanks for trying to chime in but that's completely irrelevant. not once did any of us mention the power play. This whole argument is about the original poster (dslav I think his name was) complaining about the way he writes. I went on to tell him not to read the articles if he doesn't like what he writes. Another poster then went on to tell me to "fact check" regarding paul not changing the way he writes because one commenter was complaining about his article content (what that poster had bolded in my quoted comment).

What he said!

Why are all of you Blackhawks "fans" reading Paul's blog?? Of course he's biased, of course he's a homer! He's a Predators blogger AND the teams announcer! He is writing for us, not you. I have never read a Chicago Blackhawks blog because I couldn't care less what their blogger or their fans think. Now I can't even read our blog because of your stupid comments.....(Not all of you, just most of you)

"If there is a time for Pekka Rinne to find his game and leverage his experience over Chicago’s starter, tonight is it. His ,898 save percentage and 2.91 GAA on the series are very un-Pekka-like. He has shown flashes of the Rinne Pred Nation is used to seeing, now it’s time to put one together for the entire 60 if this team is to come back home tied."

Not to nitpick here, but literally one less goal allowed would Put Rinne's save percentage at .908 and takes his GAA to around 2.70, both of which are pretty on par with two of his three past playoff performances. So basically what you're saying is that Rinne isn't playing like himself because of one goal too many over a small sample size.

He's reading the opposing blog for precisely the reason you state. Often home blogs can't give you the whole story on a team because of inherent bias in observation and lack of familiarity. With that said, he is a journalist, and as a journalist you are supposed to maintain impartiality in your analysis, even if you have a personal interest in your own team. The best broadcasters/writers/reporters are the ones who can give you insight and information without slanting it either way.

Thank you. The Hawks won G3 PERIOD. He said yesterday about the score being closer than what it was...I feel like the Hawks had control of G3 throughout and the scoreline/shot totals weren't indicative of the way the Hawks dominated play.

Move the F on to G4. Rinne needs to stand on his head...hopefully Fish comes back tonight (doubt it)...Can't go down 3-1 to Hawks.

So nice try mr tanuki, better luck next time. Maybe you should read all comments before trying to call me out. Thanks though
