That's another really good blog, Pach.

Ps - Mike Robitaille is not an authoritative source - he is a poor man's Don Cherry. He's a grumpy old man with great big choppers, bad veins, and a fondness for spicy Cheese. I don't care what he thinks about Murray, and I'm sure Murray doesn't either.

At least you're not celebrating futility like "another Sabres Blogger".
Happy to see that McDavid has a good chance at landing in Buff... He would make a great impact on the team in the not so distant future. Could see the Sabres slowly improving along the lines the Isles are at now. Tavares = McDavid?

After reading this well written piece, and catching up on the comments from last night/this morning, all I can say is that it's the day we have been waiting for. It took a lot longer than we thought it would, and the ride was crazier than I anticipated, but dang does it feel good.

The Sabres rebuild is more like Chicago's than it is the Isles or even the Penguins. We have some excellent pieces in place and we don't even have Eichel or McDavid yet

Ristolainen
Reinhart
Kane
Girgensons
Ennis
Zadorov

2016-2017 we will be competing

Plus the idea that by then you have Bailey, Baptiste, Compher, and Fasching in Rochester makes it even better.

Yea because you know better than Mike.

I know this already..... I know.
Mike knows this also, I am sure he will bow down before you when he sees you, you and your plethora of awe inspiring hockey knowledge ,NOT!

I'll tell you, some of you are just straight up comical.

And by the way, this was a very well written blog Michael, thank you.

If you need some comedic relief this morning.

If we get McDavid, he and Reinhart should do something like this a few years down the line.

I guess Eichel may fit the mold better though.

My old man played for Roby in Juniors. Said he knows the game as well as my almost 2 year old daughter. Just because you can play the game doesn't make you a good coach or GM. Roby is an old timer that the game has passed by. This isn't the skating around without helmets and hooking every forward when they skate by you. Roby is a not as flashy dresser Don Cherry.

You know there are other former players and GMs that disagree with Mike... Right? Robi isn't exactly a hockey guru. He has actually had his opinions proven wrong many times in the past decade. So no offense but Mikes opinion doesn't mean much to me.

Exactly. At the rost i'm sure he will be laughed at for his opinions over the past couple decades. Players don't always turn into scouts. Just because you're good at playing hockey doesn't mean you're good at evaluating talent.

It's like trusting the opinion of Andrew Peters over anything or anyone else.

I would take Travis Yost's opinion over his and Yost, to my knowledge, didn't play.
