So if ROR finishes the year with more points than Duchene which is looking like it'll happen. Can we pay him?

I'm willing to see that contract added to the table. His scoring is still 'there' even on a bit of a down year, he works wonders with the Captain and you can stick Mack or Tang there on the other wing without losing a step.

Lando - ROR - Tangs
Mack - Duchene - Iggy

Is that possible or does Mack not fit on that side? I'm baffled at Duchene's lack of scoring, I thought he'd be battling for a top 10-15 in the league this year.

They'll end up getting a pass this year because the fall down from grace was expected but now it adds some pressure to next year. At the end of the day, they just started off far too slow. All of them, the offense wasn't clicking.

Get ROR locked up.

You have to keep the ROR line together. With how Hishon is progressing this all up, I think he could be a good 3rd line C. I wouldnt mind seeing this next season.

Landy ROR Mack
McGinn Dutch Iggy
Tangs Hishon Everberg
McLeod Mitchell Bordy
Caron/Hamilton/Cliche/Winchester

We have a full roster going forward. So if this team wants to improve in the Top 9, the only logical guys to move are McGinn, Mitchell, and maybe Tangs (highly unlikely as I think hes not leaving Denver a second time). I can see Hamilton and Caron going down to the AHL next season too. So really no room for improvements unless they trade out some guys

If they move McGinn for a Dman, I would love to see them try and snag Stafford in UFA, he would be unreal with Duchene. Seeing what he can do away from Buffalo and playing with some decent line mates, guys a hard working difference maker.

oh you know me, just keeping it real.

Not sure what they are going to do, but based on this year and the amount of guys signed for next season, they have to make trades. Call up and signings are not the solution since they dont have any open spots.

I can see them being very active this summer making a large amount of smaller moves

well if you read this one hack denver sports writers article, he was questioning if we should still be calling him super joe after this season.

Guy was paid to write this even though he was listing off the wrong guys who the Avs added this season....Brad Stuart not Chris Stewart

Thats hilarious. Cant believe that the editors let that go to print. I think the Avs are headed in a good direction. Get some help on the back end and solidify the bottom six. They aren't far off.

Thats why I think McGinn and Mitchell will be traded this summer, they have the most value to them and could net upgrades on the D Core. They wont be homerun trades but they will help.

Jets certainly have some decisions to make, that line of Tlusty, Stafford, Frolik that they rolled out recently is all UFA's I believe. Not 100% on Tlusty but Stafford and Frolik are both guys that have played themselves into free agency and would be dumb not to test that market. I would be okay putting either of those guys with Duchene.

I like either of them, and if they expect Burmistrov to come back, they wont have the roster space for the 4 of them. I think the Jets try to resign Stafford and let Frolik test.

Frolik Dutch Iggy could be a decent hard working line, good mix there

I don't know about the majority but you can count me as someone that doesn't care to see EJ play again this season.

He's good. We already know that. Park him.

I don't want him cutting into any of Holden's time.

Would like to see the holden/guenin pairing do 25+ mins a game. PP and PK time. Mix it up a little.

Agreed, I could do with either.

I have a feeling the Jets trade those Burmistrov rights. Not sure how that works in his case? Jets are playing a big, fast, physical game that's really worked well for them, I don't think they want Burmi back causing any sort of distraction.

shut EJ and varly down, they need rest I agree.
But both seem like such competitors, especially EJ, so he will do whatever he can to get back onto the ice, even if its for 1 game.
