yeah, it sucks. i turned my stick hand out while leaning to "fight through a screen", ya' know, like brooby told everyone a goalie needs to do, and it caught my under all the blocker sidewall padding. if there's a spot, the puck's gonna' find it. first time i've ever been hit there. last week i took a similar shot on my pointer finger, but that didn't cut me.

hard shot, didn't see it until the last second, and caught my thumb under all the side protection because i rotated my hand out. didn't do it on purpose. just one of those things. i played through it for about 15 minutes, but it was open hockey. finally took my blocker off and saw shredded skin and some blood...thought, eh, probably time to get off the ice.

Burns is one of those guys that is so talented, but it just doesn't quite happen.
I still love the guys game, any player that can easily go from O, to D, without an issue has some talent.

Edit: Not quite happen, (talent wise), meaning he's not mentioned in elite status.
But man I'd love to see him on our blue line!
