Grabbing these free prospects is a good way to get the rebuild started properly. It opens up spots for hungry players, to replace the ones who feel entitled. Now we just start drafting and developing. I figure 3 years, then start ascending in the standings.

Bozak was a fine pick up. Problem was we didn't have any real first line centres

Maybe, but we didn't have Morgan Rielly or William Nylander working their way towards decent NHL careers back then. We also have assets that we can actually flip for talent. Back then, we had almost nothing to work with. Cupboards where bare and no draft picks to use.
