Maybe they win this one? - ob18
I am driving 3 hours to see the game tonight. 3rd row behind the Oilers net. I have made the drive 6 times to watch the Flyers play in Edmonton. They have never won when I have gone. Sorry everybody.
Does anyone know what time the morning skate usually is? Leaving early in hopes of maybe adding a few more signatures to my Flyers jersey. |

The Flyers are still in search of their 10th road win of the season.
No. Don't do it. Not worth it.
Let's stay firmly rooted in the 7 spot and give Columbus a chance to pass us in the standings. |

It does suck, no question. I am, however, dead set against the notion of tanking. I find it beyond distasteful. Tomorrow is the 31st anniversary of the notorious 13-4 game at the Spectrum where the Flyer scored seven unanswered goals in the third period because the Penguins did not even make a pretense of competing.

Throw Nurse in there and thats not a bad blueline for the future. |

I was at that game and being a season ticket holder for 27 years back in the day makes it difficult to enjoy watching these games.....we would go to the club or hang in the concourse or just leave early. |

I would, however, like to see a few kids get in a few games personally. |

I would replace Rinaldo with Laughton in this lineup
I would have also let Manning play while he was here |

One of these guys
Marner
Crouse
Strome
Zacha
Hanifin
Provorov
Werenski
Rantanen
Barzal
A few of them will still be on the board and its hard to find fault with any of them. |

it's worse than the malaise of the offseason, mainly because:
-at least poop happens sometimes during the offseason
-we still have sitting through the offseason ahead of us |

Its less likely than the other guys named but 3-10 looks to be totally up in the air this draft.
I have a feeling at the 5 or 6 spot Carolina will draft for need(since BPA seems to be so close with these guys) and take a much needed D man. If Hanifin goes before that I'd look for the Canes to grab Provorov, which means a guy like Zacha could end up falling into our laps. |

Tanking is proactively trying to lose, and I don't think they are going to do that. I just don't want them to win any more games resulting in a higher slot in the draft. It's pointless, and although the chance of winning the lottery is slim, it goes from 3.6% at 8 to 6.2% at 6. I take the higher draft pick and the few extra percentage points over meaningless wins every day. |

I hope our coach splits goaltending duties for the rest of the season. Give Mason our MVP a bit of a break as he may need psychiatric evaluation at the end of the year. |

I don't think they are trying to tank, I just think they are a mess right now and will struggle to beat anyone on the road. And, btw, I was at that game and in 84 and it was a total fiasco. The Pens just basically stood there and watched the Flyers play. Both they and the Devils actively tried to lose games that year and it was an utter disgrace.
The one thing I would like to see, once they are mathematically eliminated from the playoffs, is for Mason to be shut down. Let him fully heal, there is absolutely no point in playing him in meaningless games and they may as well get one more look at Zepp before the end of the season.

I don't think so, I can't see him falling past Carolina. Having a top pair of Faulk and Hanifin sets up their D for the next decade.
