Well the good news is Gus is injured again and Mrazek will be back up. Weiss was brutal today.

It was only a matter of time before Babcock put his lover Glendening on the 1st line and now that he scored a fluke goal, he's likely going to keep him there for a while until Helm is back.

Good to know that Mrazek will be back in goal. Bummed I won't get to see him play this weekend as I'm going to watch the Griffins play the Rockford Ice Hogs on Saturday. I only caught the last few minutes of the game... glad I didn't bother putting it on the DVR.

When I heard Babcock was putting Glendening on the top line I almost vomited. I don't care if he scored a fluky goal today... A blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while. I'm glad he can get a greasy goal once every few months... but that's where his offense ends. He not a finisher. I'm praying Helm will be back next week as is predicted from his abdominal strain. Helm is having the best season of his career and finding ways to score. Abdelkader has been good this year too with some pretty good hands.

I'm not optimistic for the playoffs because this team is still missing one very important attribute: size. For both along the boards and in the corners. Not sure why they suck so bad against the good Eastern Conf. teams.

Is there any freakin' way the Wings can do a buyout on Weiss's contract next season ? I'd like to see it happen. Doubt Holland would do it though... as it would prove how big a mistake it was.

They could do a regular buyout but I doubt they will. Might be better if they picked up part of his salary and moved him.

He's always in the bottom 6 but he does get some PP time. Normally he doesn't carry the puck on the PP or play the point so I know why he did today.
