Probably one of your best ever EE.
Why do you think they are so patient with Eller?
Now that the TDL has past, why keep playing him?!? I presume they weren't able to trade him, that's too bad, but now, there's absolutely no reason to keep him in the lineup. Unless it is to save the GM' ass...

They are hoping he can turn it around and have great playoffs.

I have to say, the fact he needs constant pats in the back to get out of these funks irritates me.

Agreed. He obviously lacks confidence in himself... when things don't go his way it seems to take everything for him to get out of it.
