With Boston picking up a point last night(BTW great comeback by Calgary) they absolutely need this game tonight. Why does Columbus have their number lately, it is not like they are a frightening team to play against?

Zac Rinaldo has finished his eight-game NHL suspension and is eligible to return to the lineup. With the team going well of late, however, he may be a healthy scratch.

I wish the bolded part read, "He has been assigned to the Steel City Warriors of the Federal Hockey League."

Berube has gotten the team to play the style he wants. Lowest even strength GA in at least 4 years, lowest penalties taken in I don't know how long. It hasn't resulted in a great record but he's got the collective ear of the team

I don't get this. I know we rail on the guy, but he's been decent of late

That doggone depth. Flyers blueline is a tough nut to crack.

Throw in Rinaldo and it's a deal.

They are faster and bigger then the Flyers and seem to win most of the puck battles.
Also it seems to me they have figured out how to neutralize G and Jake.

Flyers should still beat these guys.
Depends on which version of the Flyers shows up tonight.

Consistent...

Kimmo Timonen is on the ice and ALL the Flyers are tapping their sticks as he gets on.

Is it possible this is coming from the top? In an effort to make sure they showcase the guys that they think they can move?

Chief's probably just keeping the lineup that won together. I think he's trying to give them a little boost here, what with the consistency comment and all.

If MacDonald was on the Preds, he'd be the equipment manager.

Wonder if Rinaldo will welcome Kimmo back the same way he welcomed Coburn back.

Edit: DAMMIT!

Please, he couldn't hold Shea Weber's equipment.

This is some strange juju I don't understand.

Coburn is benched for nearly the entire 3rd period and Luke is struggling, yet Amac sits.

He probably has an injury that the team will announce is unrelated to a previous injury, which this board will insist is a flat-out lie without full knowledge of what either injury is/was.

Maybe you just have to be there to get it, because it certainly doesn't add up from a distance.

EDIT: I can understand Coburn getting a pass though, what with it being his first game back. He probably just has to play through it and shake the rust.

Showcasing I think. Amac ain't going nowhere. But I agree Amac sitting is eye opening to say the least
