Good write up. I am not sure what your exact cap situation is but what would does Boston have to give up for Franson? 1st rounder or young prospect? I think that's what the Leafs are looking for.

Thanks, dude. And yeah, the rumor I've heard is that it'll take a first *and* a prospect. In terms of what the Bruins are willing to move from their prospect pool, they have a few blue liners they'd be willing to part with, and Ryan Spooner up front.

lols... if only they all follow suit but not too much. I sure hope the leafs finish between 9-11th in the conference. don't want them to get too good of draft position even though they are trying their hardest to fail... which is a pretty gutless and classless move on their part... tanking is for losers.

Thanks Ty for the insight. I'm glad you didn't follow Haggs lead and talk about trading Chara. All the hate on Chara this year from some of the fan base and certain media is really pathetic. He has lost a step but the team is a lot better with him on the team.

Bos isn't gonna trade him now that's silly. They are trying to win this year and are not sellers. His contract would be tough to move but let's explore the thought. Certainly a team going for it would be instant favourites bringing in Zee. Bos should be looking for a grade A prospect and draft picks.

Pretty hard deal to make. Likely done in the offseason if any. Personally I'd like to see him retire a Bruin, he deserves it!

Meh, I'd be open to trading Chara for the right return. Bruins are bordering on pretender right now, and to be honest I wouldn't hate the idea of shipping out some larger contracts.
