sutters tough on kids. that was one of the areas in calgary he could have improved on as a coach. However he does seem to give tofolli enough chances.

That being said, his coaching i don't can be criticized much. just don't let him GM.

Or pick who's going to shoot in a shootout.

Toffoli should be on the second PP unit and it is a joke that he doesn't get that time at least.

PS why the hell did the reign get the old school gretzky jersey

The Kings should have been sporting the old logo NOT this stupid home plate logo.
Now when they retire more numbers its gonna be yet another change of jersey in the rafters.

They change their jerseys way too much.

THIS.

Trevor Lewis should never been in a shootout while Marian Gaborik is yet to shoot. I don't care what "message" you happen to be sending to whom.

As for the actual topic of the article: abso(franking)lutely. I don't see how you have a guy who plays on the second line and is one of your best offensive weapons and you don't have him out there on the PP. Outside of a stretch of a few games in December, TT has been lights out and isn't a defensive liability. Given the shortened bench and the results we've seen out of the Toff' so far you throw out the experience and age and you just put your best guys in the trenches.

Buuuuuuuuut, Sutter helped the Kings to two cups, so in spite of my reservations I almost never question his (or DL's) judgement.

dominating performance tonight. other than one slacker play by regher on the third flames goal and about 5 minutes of rough 2nd period play, the Kings played perfect. This is the kind of hockey we expect from the Kings after a bad drought so hopfully the Kings are starting something big. GKG!!!

Thanks man! Dominating performance tonight. I wouldn't call it a 60 minute effort but I would call it a 50 minute effort. That 70s Line Part Deux looked like the OG That 70s Line. A hatty, some Run DMC, DK surprised by his own goal face, and Carter being Carter. In all honesty that game should have been 8-2 rather than 5-3. As I put over on the Flames thread - these are the games a championship team should win - and the Kings had the championship pedigree on full display tonight. Seems like the Kings took us to the brink of the abyss and are now righting the ship at the last minute again... I guess we'll see.
