Yeah i almost feel like these trades should get them penalized in some form. Its blatant tanking, which should not be allowed. I get that they shopped myers, but this lindback trade? how does that even make sense?

with kane's injury they are worse at forward.

you could argue that bogo is less than myers (at least on transition to a new team) and that they are worse at F, G, and D.

Both are pending UFAs. Buffalo did this trade to add a third round pick that they could either use or deal. It doesn't matter who you have in net for Buffalo this year.

not sure what the kane trade has to do with this team. Enroth for a conditional 2nd or 3rd and Lindback who will probably get flipped like Halak did (irrelevant to the evaluation of this trade but still). You said this trade was a tank move that made no sense and they should get penalized. This was a single player fetching a decent return. Trading your best player for a guy who is out until September is part of the tank but this trade is hardly punishable...
