I'm really eager to hear about Timonen. As I've said, I hope he gets a clean bill of health so that he can lead a normal life. I'm hoping for a best case scenario where he can play some games before the end of the season. Not because it will get us in the playoffs but because I want to see him go out on his terms and for the fans to be able to honour him.

Question. Say he comes back and is solid, I wonder if he would consider a trade to a contender so that he can get a deserved shot at a cup. I bet there'd be interest and if we could get say a late 2nd for him why not?

Bill we're at the point now where you can just copy/paste these game day outlooks. All you have to do is update the stats/records. Thanks for your hard work but seriously save yourself time go spend it with your family.

Just looking at that Buffalo roster makes you wonder how they even have 14 wins.
This " should" be a 5-1 , 4-1 game.... For the Flyers that is.
God.. Hamburglar and Rinaldo should have points tonight

Thanks Bill. If they lose against the Sabers tonight, I will start a collection plate to fund some real players.
I am really surprised that they haven't benched Rinaldo, and someone else, and brought up at least Jones, and White.
Any status on White? I know it's not a "fix all" bringing those two in, but at least it might bring some life back into the team. Right now, they just seem to be going through the motions, and looking forward to spending time on the golf course.
It will be interesting to see if they keep Chief for another season. I don't know if he has lost the team, or never really had the team to begin with, but I don't put the entire blame on him for the team's poor play. On paper, I would have picked them as more than a .500 team, but on the ice, they sure look like it, and worse at times.

More like a 2 bottles of scotch game.

Thankfully I have a gig tonight and won't be forced to watch this mess.

Buffalo plays pretty well at home as I recall. I could definitely see the Flyers losing this game.

Honestly, if Timonen comes back and plays well, and is willing to accept a trade to a contender, he would probably be the Flyers best trade chip.

We are going to end this season playing poorly enough to just miss out on McDavid or Eichel.

Would he have a big enough time frame to prove his worth of a good return?

He's what 39, so the return is going to be limited. If they could get a 2nd round pick, that would be great. A contending team adding Timonen to their defensive rotation would strengthen a team.

Kimmo coming back to help this team win pointless games will not sit well with me. If he can still play he moves front and center on the trading block.
