Have a feeling that the Wild and Sabres are going to be dance partners again, possibly by tomorrow. At this point, if Buffalo was asking for Coyle in a trade for Enroth, Fletcher would probably do it.

am still of the opinion that public speaking is not one of terry pegula's strong points...love the guy, though

Not at all but he has gotten better since he bought the Sabres...that's not saying much

I love the freshness of Rex...

Letters announced for the All-Star game (not going to list them cuz...who cares), but it made me wonder - when will Girgensons get picked in the "draft"? (Are they even doing that still?)

Speaking of Sabres logos, I liked the goat head, but the original will always be my favorite. We need to go back to it. The white outline around all logo parts ruins it.

Had to carry this over from the last thread for emphasis. Dear god this is beyond true.

It's all psychological. You yell Grigorenko, everybody says, "Huh? What?" You yell Myers, we've got a panic on our hands on martin luther king day 2015.

What's going to unfold imo is that Chicago is going to use this new found leverage to trade one of their many good goalies, get a good player and prospect, win the cup this year, and have said prospect turn into the next Sharp or Saad. That's just how it seems to work for them.

I've been beating this drum for like 2 years now. Love what he brings on a nightly basis. Seems to be a guy Murray would want too. Big, uses his size, and has offensive skill. The fact that he played through the WJC a few years ago while battling the flu says a lot about his make-up as well. Just wish his offense would pick up a bit. I think he's got more skill than we've seen at the NHL level so far.

Are they really that good though? Or are they a product of the team they play for? Crawford is a bit above average, but he happens to play on a power house of a team with a pretty killer D.

I really wouldn't be surprised if we ended up trading say Coyle and a mid level pick or prospect for Steward and Enroth. I think Fletch realizes he needs to go big with this trade or risk alienating the fan base even further and his job by missing the playoffs.

Crawford, for as much flak as he takes from some fans, shows up for the Playoffs and wins. Raanta and Darling both look legit as well. They are pretty good...
