Yakupov isn't worth anything. Petry is a UFA after this season so there would have to be a deal involving a new contract so I say that's unlikely.
Good try though, maybe next time. |

Petry getting moved as a pending UFA is actually highly likely. |

Right, but the return probably won't be what they'd normally get because of the UFA status after this season, my bad. |

Didn't Anderson sign an extension, so why would OTT trade him??
Makes no sense, again....... - Ur Not Me
makes sense, in a way.
based on his age, and where the sens organization is....by the time their young guys develop, and the team is ready to potentially contend, anderson will likely not be a factor anymore. might as well move him now, while his value is at it's highest. right now, all anderson is doing is playing extremely well, and keeping a bad team competitive enough to just miss the playoffs.....good enough to hurt the draft position, but not good enough to get into the post season.
having a really good goalie on a young and inexperienced team, keeps them in a constant state of being average. if he was a bit younger, that's one thing, but at his age....... |

Pens and Edmonton talking about Hemsky. I'm so glad I don't have to hear this after three years of the nonsense. |

On the Red Wings and Wild in Goal...
I was told this morning that a new wrinkle to the goalie market has become the Senators possibly looking to add Craig Anderson into the fray if the team appears out of it come mid-February. Anderson is a MAJOR chip because he has shown to be extremely seasoned under pressure and valuable . His price tag is a bit high, but you are getting a goalie who can carry you if need be. A great fit for either Minnesota or Detroit even if they needed to go to him in the playoffs..
What the (frank) are you smoking? |

No it doesn't bc who's the back-up to Lehner? You cant go into every season with multiple holes, the G situation is one that the Sens don't have, so why make one?? |

I don't see how it helps either team anyways... Edmonton is walking away with eichel or mcdavid so with nuge and draisitle and mceichel why do they need coots? And would coburn and petry not be a complete wash ? |
