Don't know about that, but I wouldn't be surprised if the bruins trade Krug.

He is a great complementary piece for a team but is going to get a stupid silly raise at the end of the year.

He is a bottom pairing MAYBE a number 4 PP specialists.

With the Bs cap issues and the signings they need to make I can see them trading Krug.

Although I thought Edmonton was high on him too.

I really don't see Oshie going anywhere, but no one is off limits.(Tarasenko, Schwartz, and Lehtera better be though)

Higgins, Kassian, Prospect (perhaps Gaunce, we got a ton of centers and he's a big two way guy, could become a decent third line C) plus a 2nd or 3rd for:

Krug and Smith+ salary dump

Lucic needs to be "the guy" on a team.....give him a "A" or a "C" and I bet he matures three years.

I don't think it happens here in Boston....

BUT...

He would INSTANTLY change the culture of any team he is on.......it would be night and day.

That's why I think him going to the Oilers would be the best thing for all three parties......the Bs.....the Oilers.....and himself.....

He is a guy that young kids would look at and be like.........HOLY SHAT!!!.....that guy if fricken crazy and awesome......."I want to go out there and kill somebody too!"

I don't know if Van has what it would take to get him IMO.........he is way more valuable than E. Kane but slightly less valuable than T. Hall.........

But the "intangibles" he would give a team would motivate a team like crazy.......

In Boston there are TOO many guys in front of him and he can get away with being streaky........

If the Bs we're to trade away Lucic they loss a big, gritty, guy that plays hard, AND has some hands every now ant then.

I think if Chia pet wanted to try to replace AND upgrade parts of that then maybe Kassian COULD be a PIECE to the equation.

If we traded Lucic for a goal scorer....skill...speed....but not a wussy.....

AND.....grabbed a beast mode guy for the 3rd or 2nd/1st line it could work......

I just wonder what is going on in the heads of Chia and Neely.......

But someone did paint something offensive on his church.

He also got punched in the face outside a club here last summer.

And he was quoted as saying "f@!# Vancouver" recently.

Lucic to Van would go over almost as well as Burrows to Boston.

God I would love to see that trade go down!


Maybe we could re-aquire Aaron Rome and throw him in to sweeten the deal.

I hate these stupid trade rumors on mid prospects (or top prospect in a teams pipeline).....

Thefourthperiod.com was talking about some nonsense about Buffalo prospects at D that doesn't even play in the NHL a goalie that has been on fire for three weeks and Myers (who would be a great fit....in fact if buffalo is going to trade away a top pairing D man then they are jackasses)

but Stewart is like Kelly,.. where is the upgrade. how many 3rd - 4th liners do we need. Trading Looch is just stupid, unless its for something huge. These "assets" we have don't mean poop with no cap room. Trading Cambell and Kelly isn't gonna give them enough room, well maybe kelly, but whats the point?

Oh yeah... Kassian a first liner? Do they see something no one else in the league does. PJ Axeson isn't a first line player even though they played him there. You can paint a pig blue.. but its still a pig.

No. The have coveted a puck mover since Ray Bourque was traded. Krug stays otherwise that back end is slower than Flyfreaky's metabolism.
