I think the Bruins would be more than happy to send Dougie Armstrong to the Oilers.

I could see a deal for Hall in the summer but not right now, too many cap restrictions and not enough flexibility.

Edmonton doesn't have the cap space to take back the amount of money they'd get back for Hall. He is worth quite a bit and the Oilers wouldn't trade him for cheap even though they are in a bad position right now. You don't trade a top 5 scorer from last year on a terrible team for nothing.

Aka, not worth it. Not sure I trade Hamilton straight up for Hall... Yes, hall is a better player, but top pairing Dmen don't grow on trees, especially ones that are early 20's and already a top pairing Dman, with Chara older why would they ever move Dougie. I think Hamilton is pretty much unmovable.

Bruins could realistically offer Subban, Khoklachev, Krug and a 1st or something like that most likely, which likely doesn't get it done

Never start your rebuild around a winger. Hall, Nash, kovalchuk, ovechkin. They will put up great numbers but wingers are just not that valuable to a hockey teams success.
