scrate
Something that is great or straight... or both.
I just got a scrate flush.
Those rims are scrate.

Actually getting scrated sounds more like getting hit in the sack with a skate.

Scrotum and Skate + Scrate. And under those circumstances I can't blame Gillies for being upset.

"The Chicago Blackhawks came into the Coliseum on an eight game winning streak, the Islanders had a three game losing streak. It was obvious one streak would be ended on the Coliseum ice. Luckily, it was the Isles streak that would be broken..."

Actually, it was NOT obvious that one streak would be broken. Had the Blackhawks won the game, then BOTH streaks would have continued. Furthermore, it wasn't just the Isles streak that was broken. So was the Blackhawks streak....

Biggest positives, Halak is solid, Grabo was skating big and all three scorers were guys we needed to score, CC, KO and Viz. Believe the two OTT wins before we lost three were paced by Hickey but last night the D was more solid as well.

My compliments on a very well written and very positive report. I watched the game as it was one of Hockey Night In Canada's Premier Matchups and it was exactly that. One Canadian commentator went so far as to say this could be a Stanley Cup Final preview! Good job Dee.

I'd expect to see him back friday, I think the extra 4 days off will help him get a few more practices in and they don't want to risk losing him again for a longer period of time.

they also will have to waive two players when hamonic and boychuk return - reinhart will likely be returned to bridgeport, and with any luck, brian strait will be the one on waivers.

Make sure he reads the rules and regulations. He needs to comply with the quota of Capuano and (insert player here) complaints per week. Also, he must either complain about or answer someone who complains about Tavares, bi-weekly.

Does he have to attend any meetings?
