I think Jan sweat more writing this recap than the Rangers did in winning that game today

I was definitely worried about Talbot but it sure looks like he has gotten himself back to being the reliable backup he was last year. Thank goodness

Sad #NYR news. Chris Kreider has lost his grandfather, will not be available tomorrow v. Flyers @ MSG. NY preparing to recall JT Miller.

Skjei only played 6 games this year

Loved the amount of ranger fans in the crowd today...that Nash shorty was awesome. Flyers fans booing their own players

Sad for CK. With or without him I dont think the Flyers have much hope. That is 1 dead team over there.

Outside of Voracek and Giroux not much really impresses me about them

It's such a big help having two reliable goalies. If the Rangers have any designs of making another run, come playoff time, they need a fresh and ready to go Lundqvist. A sharp Talbot goes a long way.

I like you guys; you are a very entertaining group in good times and in bad. Not kicking you guys while you are down because I actually think your team thread is tolerable over many others.

Hopefully Glass has ebola. Danny Boyle is hitting his stride. Adds a great dynamic to the backend and doesn't show his age virtually at all.

thanks

it's the team right now that is sad.

if they can't bring their best effort in a nationally televised game against a long time rival, especially after the GM chewed them out less then 2 weeks ago after being embarrassed at MSG, well that is pathetic.

I guess they are not a great team, but most expected them to at least be a bubble team for a wild card shot.

They are much closer to a lottery pick.

Love the win obviously, but got to be honest, felt like i was celebrating fools gold. I think it's safe to say we are the 3rd best team in the division, but does possibly sweeping the flyers this weekend really make it better when we lose to Tampa on monday? Not saying we need to be negative just voicing/venting my opinion that I really want to start celebrating real wins.

well, look at this this way, today was the first game we had our entire team healthy and in the lineup and this team also has 5-0 wins over Montreal and Pittsburgh under it's belt too.

Tampa is one of the best teams in the league and we lost to them on the road by a goal without our captain.

I think we are coming around, just gotta stay healthy

I read that some fans of the Flyers want Hanifin while others don't want the team to tank. If it's not for Eichel and Mcdavid, Hanifin is being talked about going 1st overall. He's just in the wrong draft. But, I'd hate to see him in Flyers sweater, because he's very good.

I'm looking at the standings and a huge reason that a team like the Isles are 8 points ahead of us is because the Isles are 5-0 in shootouts and we're 1-4. Isles lose a couple and we win a couple and the gap is suddenly only 4 points and if you switch the results and Isles got 0-5 and we go 4-1 we're ahead of them. So basically the shootout has (frank)ed us and obviously that's our fault but it also skews the standings a bit.
