No one ever said he was washed up . Go Back and check . What was said was it was not the right signing for Buffalo . He would be washed up when Buffalo was ready to compete in 3 to 4 years . And Buffalo would have to overpay and give him too long a term . Also a mute point as he never hit free agency as Tampa signed him before Free Agency opened up . So Buffalo could have never signed him anyways.
