Tim Chiasson: Gameday: Sharks vs Flames Calgary comes into the SAP Center 7-4 in November and firing goals into the net like they're playing for their life. Can the Sharks weather the storm and come out with a win?

No Hannan, Scott, Burish or Brown is a step in the right direction.

I agree, sit Irwin and Hannan. No offense to Irwin, but Mueller actually has a future with this team and it's important to get him some NHL experieince.

Seeing that the 3rd pairing could be shaky, do you think it would be better to have Braun with Mueller, and Vlasic with Tennyson to balance out the D a bit more?

From what we've seen of McLellan so far he's more than content to ride shaky pairings, although it could be an option.

I think it would be tough to break up their top(only) shut-down pair against an offense that has been flying lately, even if it did appear make more stable lines. Tennyson has yet to play a game in the bigs this year so I wouldn't really want to throw him to the wolves right away, rather just watch his adjustment throughout the game and then maybe the adjusted pairings come to light later in the game depending on how things go.

Having the most road games to ever start a season also means we have the most home games remaining.

What's wrong with the Sharks this season? Losing games they wouldn't usually lose.

I think McLellan is in the same boat as Vigneault when he coached the canucks. Regular season success is awesome but when does a franchise decide to go in another direction?

Vigneault was and still is a great coach but it was time to cut ties here in Van. Will SJ do the same?

After the morning skate also seems as though McGinn is returning to his natural habitat on the fourth line as well.

What a horrible game by the sharks tonight. Tye Mginn should never ever be allowed on the 2nd line

Yes, that's why he was on the 4th line.

Joe Thornton is the problem. Him and his clique are trying to get the coach fired.

Watched the game last night and boy do they look stale...

So much talent on that team, it needs a good shakeup.

Well you can't blame Niemi on this one.

Never can blame the goalie when you don't score.

I blame Todd & his magical line wheel & his mismanagement of ice time, he's ran his course in San Jose he has no clue what he's doing anymore.
