I see Glass as a poor man's. Prust. He's fast, kills penalties, and he's tougher than Dorset. It's true that he can't hit the the side of a barn, but we knew that when they signed him. When the Rangers have played well this year, they've been good defensively (even when all those D-men were out). I think Duclair is by far the weakest defensively and just isn't ready. Kreider, and pretty much everybody has been guilty of bad games (see Tampa game) but I think Duclair should come out and Stempy should take his spot. Like Jan said, the fourth line played its best game against the Flyers. I think Miller will get another shot at wing or center when somebody gets hurt. Hopefully, steps up because he seems to be the most talened option with some grit. |

I don't think AV is crazy about having 3 rookies in the lineup, so if Stempniak and Glass are healthy, they are gonna play, that's just all there is too it.
I feel like Hayes has a permanent spot in this lineup now, so the only healthy scratches are going to be how he feels about Fast or Duclair on any given day.
The lineup is still weird, and that's putting it mildly |

Excrement? - jimbro83
From the blog (clearly a typo, but...)
Brooks questions why New York hasn't shifted Miller from center to wing in the minors as well their failure to give him a realistic sh!t when he was up with the team to start the year. |

When fully healthy, this lineup doesn't really have room for Miller. Duclair already tends to be the odd man out and bringing Miller would guarantee Duclair gets sent down.
Lets be honest...Miller came into camp with the 3C spot gift wrapped for him and he got outplayed by a derp going straight to the pros from the NCAA. Not to mention Miller has had off ice issues apparently.
Agreed about subbing Stempniak in for Fast after the 4th line has a good game...no need to fix what isn't broken. |

With the long lay off and the fact that the Giants are playing the Cowboys at the same time I'm expecting a slow sloppy start and probably another home loss, just feels that way |

I don't get why the Giants game should matter....
Montreal was playing yesterday by the way, so the Rangers have that for them. |

so if AV is so concerned with the amount of Rookies in the lineup, the why does he put two together on one line? |

Just as Sam and Joe credit the Rangers with limiting the chances here comes a breakaway, hope the don't talk badly about the PP |
