Eakins spoke about the pace of practices as well. He said last year they had to spend so much time at the white board teaching and getting drills perfected. This year most of those things are fixed and practices are much faster and harder and guys are in the right spots and practicing the right way. I think we are slowly seeing results. Need some goaltending to come through though.

Key to the game: Stop the back-door specialist Sedins. They're gonna do the cycle thing where one is near the dot, the other is in front of the goalie and then someone sneaks in to tap a no-look backdoor pass cause he's wide open.

Called Toronto media pukes and said its surprising the players don't knock them out

I think they have 2 or 3 different types of little zone plays like that, it's not just one thing, although the goal scorer is usually the 3rd forward on the line, no doubt.
