Yeah, yeah, adjustment time, yada yada. Give Drouin another shot after this game. The Rangers will require toughness and Drouin doesn't have it yet.

Ideally, I say we sit Morrow and dress both Drouin and Paquette. But I doubt Cooper will do that.

It's also put up or shut up for Killorn.

I'd sit Morrow too. And I've been underwhelmed by Killorn all year, though I'll give him the benefit of the doubt now seeing as he's just back from injury.

As for that last point... You're not supposed to bring that up. Everyone thought I was nuts for suggesting it. I'm nuts for other reasons.

3 in the next 2 weeks against them - what a schedule - all three and then the season series is done I don't know the thinking here but we will only play the Habs Wings Leafs once and no Boston yet but Rags all three. Should be a fast game both teams have speed and good goaltending and 5-5 play so probably down to PP. slight edge here but they were missing Stephan and Boyle there for quite awhile. Third Fourth line advantage seems to be the biggest difference right now. I take the Bolts 4-2 with an EN.

I am completely indifferent about MSL, he's a Ranger now, this is just another game and we need the two points. NYR are a good team and we need to be careful not to get caught up in nostalgia and the past.
MSL was the Lightning heart, soul and champion. The key word in the statement is WAS! He is now an apponent and needs to be treated as such.

I'll say this, Signing an old Dan Boyle and not a prime Stralman continues to be a big head shaker for me, especially when Strals wanted to stay in NY pretty badly...

Gonna be a good game tonight. I am willing to bet that Capt. Cally will score against us, he's pretty clutch when he wants to be. Other than that, I think Hank will shut the door pretty well. I'm thinking another shootout loss will probably wake him up into good ol brick wall mode for the rest of the season.

Boyle will continue to block shots and miss the net.
