If it's such a circus act for Nikitin out there, I don't see why he can't watch from the pressbox for one game in the hopes he gets his mind out of the gutter.

I get the easy reasons why but I would have liked to see it for one game still.

Jultz is a good puck carrier when he has room. The issue in my opinion, is he is not a particularly great puck mover (he misses some breakout passes or he throws the puck away in the corner as you eluded too). Granted some of that blame can be laid on the forwards too but if you're in the NHL and you're able to send the puck, it should be on the tape. Dellow did an article on this when he compared Schultz and Petry.

He is good at finding soft spots in the offensive zone to score goals, not much more. This aspect of his game is not good enough to make up for his downfalls such as weak coverage or not tying up the man properly.

I don't like hating on Jultz, but I don't see him as a good fit on this team. I would be fine if he played 18 min a night, but that doesn't seem to be in the Oilers mandate.

Can anyone tell me why we are continuously sitting Klefbom and Marincin and icing jokers like Nikitin? If you aren't going to play them here fine. Send them down and give them some icetime.

I don't know but if we were to send him down and lose him to waivers, which I could honestly see happening with all the roster mismanagement this season, I would lose my poop.
