Great read as usual I'm on the fence as if we should send him down. Lets see after tomorrows game .

We will not win anything with Cody Hodgson on the team. He is absolutley usless outside of the offensive zone. Its one thing if a players strong suite is offence but even that is suspect. He should be the prime candidate to be moved in my opinion. I cannot take 5 more years of him on this team.

Same here, I can see the argument for both sides. In the end i think i'd be okay with either decision.

It's a good read Pach but I disagree with you on Reinhart. You yourself wrote a great summary of why he should go down.

1. the most compelling reason right now is that the team's playing so poorly it looks as if there's negativity bordering on toxicity.

2. if you juxtapose the smiles in Rochester with the frowns in Buffalo, there are better places to be than in Buffalo at this point.

3. Immature players along with more mature players were better off being in a winning environment.

4. Reinhart represents the type of player that will continue to grow and mature no matter what kind of environment he's placed in.

5. Reinhart still looks like a skinny kid out there,

6. And he shouldn't be expected to light things up this season he's probably on a path where he'll probably be able to produce, albeit modestly.

That's your own list.

I feel the same way. If he's going to stay, I'd like to see Nolan commit to giving him 2 linemates he can gel with though.

well done, schultzie...

for me he's mature enough to handle what's happening in Buffalo this season...if he could go to Rochester, there really wouldn't be a problem...

Girgensons made it through alright, and I believe Samson can too

The people on board tank nation are getting restless? How do you figure? We got to continue this getting shutout every game for many more moons.

Once that's done At the end of the season fire Nolan bring in someone who can coach at least some offense. It's not the players fault that they are not scoring. Nolan coaching method has absolutely ZERO offense in it. But oh well his coaching will get us the type of player that we've wanted for quite some time.

It'll always be us getting blown out, shutout or those ever so boring 2-1 games that Nolan brings to the table. Should have jumped on Laviolette when we had the chance.

I think McCormick centered them at practice today.

Highlighted for reference. His junior team is not much better at the moment. They are the worst team in the league.

So does it do him better losing up here where he can play against men? Or lose against teenagers?

The only thing worse than rushing a kid, is rushing a kid to play on a historically terrible team. And mostly play him on the 4th line.

They should have sent him back to juniors a month ago. The only thing he's going to learn in Buffalo this year is how to cope and then embrace the losing. Kind of like Myers, Grigerenko, etc.

While I am guessing that his presence would probably change the fortunes of his junior team, I still prefer the latter.

That being said, if they are going to keep him here, they need to play him with guys closer to his own skillset.

Send Reinhart down now. Screw his 10 game tryout. Like I said from the beginning of the season THE KID IS NOT READY. Call up Larsson in Reinhart's place,!as he deserves the shot more the Grigorenko. Grigorenko will be best served with a full AHL season. He will light things up next season.

My big concern is his durability and the wear and tear he will face playing against bigger guys. He has been crushed a few times already.

I wan't him safe with a group of guys who are his own weight and mass while he bulks up, rather than exposing him to a career ending knee or rib injury, in the hope that he will avoid all those crushers every single time.

I plan on running for president of Tank Nation. I'm not getting antsy/nervous at all. Stay the course and to the victor go the spoils (McDavid, Eichel). Now Neuvirth is getting me nervous with him playing so well. Get him the tank memo stat!!

Kootenay is a pretty poop team as well. Plus Myers is a terrible example, sabres were a playoff team his rookie year. And once they got the chance Grigorenko was sent where he belonged (AHL) and is doing well.

Having Hodgson on his line will help, IMO. He may be crap so far this year, but he was a 20 goal guy last year and can likely be that again.

I vote keep him. After watching that team of scrubs, there's worse out there.
