Wilson looked horrible.
Ellis really pushed the play and had some great outlet passes. He was also decent on the PP. |

I had concerns about special teams going into last week. I'm sure they will normalize at some point. You don't have to be a great power play team to be a playoff contender. But you can't be THIS bad!
I agree with some others about Colin Wilson. I'm just not sure what to think. He's going to wind up in Laviolette's dog house soon, and he might just be the one to get scratched when Fisher & Cullen are due to return. I've had high hopes for him the past 3 years. And I keep getting disappointed. He has skills. But he can't finish & lacks consistency in his game. I thought maybe it was Trotz. Now, I'm not so sure.
Every team goes through tough stretches. And the Preds surely will this season. The question is, does this long road trip build chemistry? Or does it further expose the weaknesses this team has? They are a pretty good team. But, they are not a complete team. There are holes. |

If the guy scores 30+...I doubt any Preds fan will care very much. |

Everybody likes to hate on the player they got rid of. One team's trash is another team's treasure. On that note, Horny is known for bonehead penalties at the worst time. See how that works...

Yo, people, it's only one loss. It's early in the season. That Pens game was a perfect storm. Preds coming off an emotional win over the Hawks and the Pens coming off two "giveaway" losses was a recipe for an L. You had to know they would come in PO'd. The CMA road trip always seems to help us bond and develop chemistry. Now if we can just find a way to get past Edmonton!!

I actually lived Neal as a Pen....the only downside is his composure. At some point the bonehead penalties don't make up for the points. He loses games at crucial times. Again, love the guy, its just frustrating to watch. |
