Fun game to watch though

If the Isle can score 7 goals without Tavares managing a single point, it's a very, very good sign that their offense if for real.

Except for the BOS game, they have given up three or more goals a game. The team is a lot of fun to watch but the goalies are having a hard time tracking the puck because of the undisciplined defensive play. Over the course of the season as they get to know one another this should hopefully improve. The five on five play has improved since the TOR game.

add grabner, bailey and hamonic to that roster when everyone's healthy and we're really deep. Maybe not a cup contender, but should be a playoff team and I'm still predicting a top three seed in the metro. I am a bit uneasy with the amount of goals we're giving up and the fact we don't seem to be playing an aggressive defensive style in our own end. we're far too passive and that's on our coach.
