Should be a fun game with the style both teams play. Avs have more firepower and the Canucks played the Blues last night so I'm not holding my breath for a win even though this is Varly's first game back and he's historically mediocre against the Canucks.

Aside from trying to fire up his team the other night and dropping the gloves, does anybody think Cliche should have a stronghold on 4th line center like he has? I don't.

Yes, I think his best abilities are as a defensive forward (maybe it's because he's not capable of scoring or creating offensively at all). Obviously he's a PK guy as well. But in reality it's not like he's great defensively, and the fact that he offers absolutely nothing on the attack should make him expendable in my opinion. If he were one of the better defensive forwards in the league, I would think differently, but he's not even close!

I don't know. Maybe it's because our defense is short of embarrassing and we need all the help we can get.

Let's get back on track tonight! Hope Redmond makes a strong impression.

I thought his fight the other night was a terrible decision. At that point in the game they had already come back from a 2-0 deficit and scored 3 unanswered goals. They had all the momentum and that fight gave the Panthers enough life even out the play again. I believe he'll sit when Winchester comes back.

10 mins into his Avs Career and Redmond did something I have yet to see Guenin do all season long, make a clean break out pass in our own zone.

And a nice aggressive offensive zone pinch that kept a play alive to get Iggy that point blank chance. You didn't have to do much Redmond but good work you surpassed Guenin already
