If you want Brent Burns to return to the forward position, where I believe he helps the team more, get your ducks in a row and attempt to trade for Andrej Sekera.
He could change the dynamic of the entire roster. |

They seem more content on sending the forwards on spin cycle rather than acquiring a defender. If Burns left the D right now without an NHL-level replacement it would be a disaster. |

Well that is what Sekera would be for. |

Oh I agree with you, my point is until they do make a trade the talk of Burns to forward is nonsense. If they had Sekera, or player X, then by all means move the bearded wonder back to the top six forward group. |

Sharks have always screwed themselves over by the constant line juggling. Lines can work for 20-25 games and after one bad game they'll change everything up, destroying all the progress that was made in that stretch. It is especially irritating because they consistently do this right around playoff time and it has disastrous results. Most successful teams pick guys to play with each other and stick with that so that they can build chemistry together. Our coaching staff has never understood the importance of chemistry. |

Burns is leading the league in defensive scoring... He is hardly the problem |

My point exactly. Sure it would be good to have the resources to have kept him in the top six forward group, but he's not playing poorly and certainly isn't the reason for the Sharks struggles. |

You know, I think I actually know what's going on. This is my theory, and it could be genius on the players part. Guys, we are losing as Thornton and Marleau have gotten the team to rally around them as a combined effort to do one thing - get McClellan and Wilson fired. Wilson tried to trade Thornton and Marleau for no good reason over the offseason, so to stick it to them - they're going to ensure that a better coach and GM are put into place. If we suck for awhile, they both get fired, but Thornton and Marleau remain, we bring in a coach who actually knows how to put a line together and a GM that will actually work to put better players on the ice and not sign cavemen to expensive, long-term contracts.
This team is capable of winning, Wilson just won't get the right pieces in trades/free-agent signings to make the team a winner. We have all been screaming for a better bottom six and better defense for years and they've done NOTHING to improve that. |

Is this serious? You think that aprox 23 professional athletes have banded together with the sole purpose of getting their coach and gm fired? Please... |

I agree 100%, excellent insight...
My brother and I (Sharks fans since day 1) have always hated how TMAC is always SO quick to juggle lines. Let the boys find some damn chemistry before you blow them up after one or two bad shifts.
He has done it since he got here and will continue to do so until he is fired.
So annoying!!! |

Why not in 1919 the white sox formed an alliance with teammates to rig the World Series for money lol.
It's not impossible. |

Pavelski is also skating on the third line at practice while John Scott skates with the defense.
Panic continues. |

Of course I'm serious. Thornton and Marleau are the leaders of the team regardless of what the coach/GM say. They have both been alienated by said coach and GM, especially Thornton. Both players as well as the team want to win, and it's becoming increasingly clear that it isn't going to happen with current coach/GM at the helm. Both need to be gone this year. Period. |
