Either Eakins really made more adjustments than usual or Craig Simpson really is the only guy that notices the positives of the Oilers on TV and lets us know about them.

I think Re the trade them both doesn't make sense. I'm not sure that you get anything like market value for Yak. Ebs at 6M for years to come gets you a #2C , I'm not sure what you get back for Yak at this point and if it's worth the risk, everyone know what Eberle is 30g top 6 winger. Yak might be the second coming of Bure or end up being bust as he is likely viewed as damaged goods right now.

Really not minding Nikitin. Foot speed concern at times, but he makes a lot of simple stick plays. Doesn't hesitate to shoot the puck either which is quite nice for a change.

Is a bit odd that our shot leaders from yesterday are;

LD, Nikitin, Joensuu 3 each
Hall, Gordon 2 each

Healy took took the Tard Talk to a whole new level last night . It seems to me like the analyst panel has taken the worst of sportsnet and CBC and put them all at one table. Elliot Freidman must sit down, take a look around and wonder where his career is going to be surrounded by such total morons like Kypreos, McLean and Healy.

I do feel bad for Friedman, hes one of the best. I liked Weekes and didnt mind PJ, but yes getting Healy the spot light is the worst thing they could have possibly done.
