I don't want to be negative but seriously. Want this turnaround quick or not turnaround at all. I don't care if we suck as long as we suck bad enough for McDavid or Eichel. I don't care if we win as long as we make the playoffs. But no more of this crap mediocrity that has plagued us for so long.

You can't be too hard on your team. Not to state the obvious; you're missing your 1st and 2nd line centres. That would sink any team in the league.

Having both our 1st and 2nd line centers might be enough to sink any team in the league.

If he's available I would hope that the Jets would trade for Eric in a heart beat... if the price was right.

He's always been one of my favourite players. He's just got to get his mojo back.

That said, can't imagine he'd want to trade winters in Raleigh for winters in Winnipeg... even if is hometown is just down the road.

Um... No? They're very good hockey players. Let's not get ridiculous over this.

We will take your 1st rd, Trouba, and big cat(Ladd, incase that reference goes over some people's heads) back. That's way better than what Toronto would offer. We will even throw in Ward for your troubles. You get a perennial 70pt center and a conn smythe winning goalie. We get bigger and what should be a decent 1st rd pick.

Yes, that was a bit of an overstatement on my part....if they play to their potential.

However, if they coast at $8.5M per year, or they are brought in at the expense of two first round draft picks and a 2nd but only produce 40 points per year...then the organization is hurt by their performance compared to other players with similar roles/salaries on other teams.
