If the Oilers can beat them, the Flames should have no problem. |

6-1 bolts. Stammer with 2, Drouin with 4 assists and is a mothafakin sorcerer |

No chance that either Ramo or Hiller keeps up the save percentage they have thus far this season. Painful to think that what we are seeing now is likely the best the flames will be all year and when the goalies come back down they will likely be allowing 3 to 4 goals every game. Going to be a long season. |

lol I actually want the flames to lose.. we can't get Mcdavid if we keep winning. As long as we beat the Canucks and Oilers all year I'm happy.

The Lightning just aren't the same team without Hedman. He's as important to that club as Gio is to ours...
That high powered offense isn't nearly as potent when they can't get the puck out of their defensive zone consistently. |

It'll be a lot easier if you just accept the fact right now that we aren't getting him. |

Yeah, I have the same conclusion. But its a strong draft so we will be getting some help either way.
If we can keep up the same work ethic with a more talented roster (3-4 years) we will be a difficult team to play against. |

It is much, much too early to be worrying about draft position at this stage. A minor 2 game losing streak puts them below .500. Things shift much too much this early.
That being said the general consensus is that the Flames will end with a very good draft pick again. And while playing good right now and still working their tails off. Nothing has convinced me yet as to that overall outcome changing. Really they have the same amount of points after 7 games as they did last season after the same. I will always hope and want them to do better, but there needs to be a sense of realism about this team and understanding as to the greater good / benefit.
And as it pains me to say, I want the Oilers to finish better than the Flames this season. Simply because it will sicken me to see another good young draft pick go north due to how much of an embarrassment they are, when The Flames seem to be doing it better and could greater benefit of that pick. To see the Flames miss out on Eichel or MacDavid because the Oilers were a bunch of suckholes again actually makes me feel sick. |

There's no way we'll get him, but it's at least an upside when we lose a few games in a row. We've been drafting very well so anybody we pick up will be a stud.

Much to early to worry about a draft position?? hahah it's the only thing we've got going for us this year. We're obviously not making the playoffs.. so what else is there to cheer for? Beating the Oilers... Beating the Canucks.. and Mcdavid.
