I wonder if Terry needs to get the check book out and write a great big check to the KHL.

It's a shame that the kid isn't get a chance to play in games anywhere. Hopefully it doesn't affect his long term development.

Can someone please explain this to me? Why would London not have the rights?

Last season the KHL team gave him permission to play here. This year they would not.

It seems being Russian . The KHL team that owns his rights has to give him permission to play for a Canadian Junior team.

biggest concerns with these russian players is if they sign a contract in the KHL it's very easy for them to keep playing there and keep signing there. Kirill Petrov has been an Islanders pick for a long time and it doesn't look like he's ever going to come over. In this case it looks like your guy wants to play in North America, so it'll be interesting to see what happens.

Thanks. Poor guy, this situation surely isn't going to help his confidence which is likely an area he was already struggling in. Can't go back to junior, not good enough to play in Buffalo, and likely doesn't want to go back to Russia.

this is actually good for Zadorov, he will not improve playing this year against kids in the OHL. Let him play with men this year.

Have him as your 3rd line defensive pairing limit his ice time no pp no pk no 4 on 4 just play him 5 on 5 let him make mistakes at the nhl level and have a defensemen mentor him.

Lol

As long as the defensemen mentoring him don't have the words Andre, Benoit, Andrej and Meszaros in their names!

Agreed. I haven't seen one lick of why we brought them on board this team yet.

I expected more out of those two. Benoit had a good year last season and Meszaros, although injury prone, has always been a fairly consistent defensive player with some excellent offensive instincts.

Same here. Like Sippy said . Right now it seems that was the reason bringin them in. I know it's only a few games in. I will give it 20 . The team should be used to skating with each other..

True l'm leaning more toward weber because thats the type of player that i think zadorov will be in the end with just a little more offense to his game
