My guess is that nobody gets called up if Hammer can't go, assuming Viz is ready. He'll slot back in and Strait will remain for the time being.

I agree on waiving McDonald but I wouldn't until I had too

"i'm not going after the coach because he isn't going anywhere...i'm also being realistic.. the only major issue I have with him is his usage of the fourth line. this fan base is hilarious at times, lose one game fire the coach. tweak lines at practice, jump off cliff.. win four games in a row...crickets... score 5 straight goals at MSG....nothing... I have no problem getting on the coach... but it can't be one sided 100 percent of the time"

I don't think anyone is jumping off a cliff. Generally speaking when a coach practices with line combos those are usually the ones you see in the following game.

Yep. That's what good coaches/teams do. We'll see which we have over the next couple weeks.

Don't get me wrong. If Grabovski is going on LTIR having Mcdonald in the line up to me is a mind boggingly stupid move to make but if that's the case you waive Mcdonald who no one will pick up and send him to brgdpt. The way we are going with injuries once again we may need even more depth than we thought

Why does it have to be a one week thing? Grabo goes on IR call up Lee. Grabo comes off IR and you send down McDonald (if he gets claimed good) if he doesn't he goes down to BP. Now with Grabo back you have the option of sitting Martin or any other playing that is struggling while keeping Lee in the lineup. It's not like Conacher, Bailey, Martin,Clutterbuck should be immune from sitting a game here or there if they struggle. Plenty of options for Lee to get playing time
