what are your thoughts on Carey Price? timing off? rusty? bad luck?

i'm not understanding the Sekac hate. he's a rookie. he's played 4 games. he's playing with Lars Eller and Rene Bourque. was he just expected to come in and start putting up points and making the right play shift in, shift out?

there's nothing wrong with a good old fashioned ass kicking once in a while. Tampa's a really good team and we're still at a point in the season where everything is working itself out and the results aren't necessarily telling. look at the Leafs. embarrassed at home against Pitts Sat, then go to NY and wreck the Rags.

Habs not sharp, plus revenge game for Tampa after being swept... not the end of the world... 81-1-0 is fine with me.

What would it cost to get Myers out of BUF? Gilbert could then play on the 3rd pairing where he belongs.

Agreed. 4th game in 6 days, already 3-0 on the trip, no big deal.
As EE wrote though, a lot of work to do...

it's not hate. why would you frame it as hate?
if anyone wants this player to do well, it's me, who predicted he'd be an influential member of the team. I said, all he needs is to see the puck go in. That'll change a lot for him. He's struggling with small details he needs to practice. I won't be surprised if he gets pulled for a game, but believe he's better suited riding it out.

As for Price, it's a bit of bad luck, a bit of bad penalty killing, and I wouldn't equate yesterday's game to the other two he played.

I'm not hating.

I'm saying I don't expect much from a guy who was hardly an offensive threat in the KHL.

Especially playing with Lars Eller.

Ah,
Yeah... that's going to happen given how the four games went for him. I think he'll be fine.

I don't think he is. I just think he started behind the 8-ball with the groin strain.

In the meantime, you never have four lines rolling at full capacity.
