Listening to the game and sounded like Strome played well. Sounds like he had top line minutes which he won't get when season starts. I think he goes to BRI to get the minutes and be their number one center and protect one of the vets from being waived. However once he scores big in the AHL again we will see him on the Island when they waive one of the vets. Sounds like they are favoring Conacher and Lee who is also 24 and physically mature for the NHL.

Yep. God forbid a player of Mcdonald's caliber gets waived. He is a wonderful "vet". Brings so much to the table. Poor assett management and coaching decisions. Same old poop in islander country.

agreed. colin mcdonald has no place on this team. would be a mistake to keep him on the roster instead of strome.

The Isles treat some of these vets as if they helped the team win a Cup.
