Bob Mackenzie said this last week. Both Parties are around 500k apart and he expects a deal to be done soon.

Any idea on the term and dollars yet?

he sure as hell should be, about time somebody teached his agent a lesson in negotiating.

I am guessing 2 year (they both agreed on a bridge deal) 2.5-2.75. If Army is smart he will pay him a little more and get him in camp to work out with the rest of the team before too long. its already been too long

last reports he was asking for close to 3 and blues were offering north of 2

"Jaden Schwartz's new two-year contract with STL pays him $2M in 1st year, $2.7M in 2nd year for AAV of (yup, you guessed it) $2.35M."

HELL YEAH, now I am happy. this was a steal. Good job Army. This deal should help out resigning Tarasenko next year

The bruins are gonna have to move Boychuk for less than they expect, to get Smith and Krug signed
