Also I refuse to call them the "Arizona" Coyotes. That name is ridiculous. |

Are the kings that much improved for the regular season to win a division that they have never won before? I'm not so sure. Every year I want to believe so, but every year they have their regular season struggles.

You guys are crazy. The Kings never get their "stuff" together until later in the year. They won't be bad, but there will be at least one big stretch where they will not be able to score a goal to save their life and they'll lose some games. Anaheim will finish first. San Jose will probably finish 3rd, although between continuously throwing Thornton and Marleau under the bus and icing a terrible 4th line I'm not sure that's a given anymore. After that it's a crap shoot. |

Imagine having monahan, bennet, AND mcdavid - Nick_Dangles
Add Gaudreau to that list, that's too many potential 1C/2C. They need a solid defensemen. Ekblad would've done them wonders. |

Johnny is a winger.
Andthey may end up with Hanifin this year. They are talking about him being better than Jones.
That would suck. Hope they surprise and end up around 5-7 again.... |

Anaheim - the best regular season team in the Pac.
Los Angles - Best post season team in the Pac!
San Jose - Still a deep team, especially up front.
Vancouver - Torts is gone, team will rebound!
Arizona - Well coached team and young guys who are improving.
Calgary - I like the heart they showed last year.
Edmonton - Still big questions in goal and D. Offense should be there though. |

Lol drinking the LA kool aid. As good as the kings are they never play as well as they can until the playoffs. They will finish 2nd or 3rd.
Anaheim is the most complete team
San Jose will continue to dominate Regular season and fall short come playoff time
LA will be another strong team and could finish ahead of San Jose but im going 3rd
The rest will miss the playoffs and im not willing to go in depth like i did with the central because im on my phone |

Yes they've won it the past two years, not to mention they have some very good up and coming players right now to mix with the vets of the team. |

Ducks can be the better regular season team. Any fan would much rather have the better post season team. |

Losing Willie Mitchell is much bigger than what is stated here. Regehr and Greene are no longer good enough to bring what Mitchell did. Schultz is better than he gets credit for tho. The kings simply don't seem to care about winning the division, so they won't. All that matters to them is making the playoffs, then they become the most confident, and capable, team in the NHL.
Anaheim's goalies are going to be much better than people are anticipating. I wonder if the writers would rank the Ducks higher if they assumed Andersen/Gibson would have a good season rather than assuming they are question marks? Top ten defensive team in the league gets no love for that part of their game, which got better by taking a page from the kings and bringing in some better defensive forwards in Kesler and Thompson, plus a year of young guys hopefully improving. That offense tho!
San Jose is also going to better than people think. This team has dealt with the same issue every year for like a decade. Thornton and Marleau still haven't been traded and they still won't be bothered by it and they will still have good years. I guess people are expecting Demers to be great, but Dan Boyle is a big loss. I don't understand why Niemi is so underrated. In any case these are the three teams that push each other all season long. Unfortunately for Arizona and Western Canada, those teams are competing for the wild card spots and i don't see the Central giving them up. The playoffs will be more competitive in the West than last season, if you can believe it. |

Losing selanne and koivu is going to hurt.
Ducks chemistry is also a question mark.
I still think they will win the division but won't go far in playoffs |
