Didn't get to see the game tonight, but looking at Bryz safe percentage, looks like I won't get a chance to see him this season either. Very disappointed in the guy for not touching a rink in 4 months, doesn't show a very big drive to compete or make this team better. Sad

Backstrom on the other hand looked very sharp which is encouraging.

You're pretty much right, but in Bryz's defense, he thought he was done. No one was calling on him and as far as his tenure with the Wild was concerned, there was no room for him in the organization(the only organization showing ANY interest) until the Harding injury.

But that begs the question; why if he knew he was only an injury away from getting a call from Fletch did he not stay ready?

Things seem to be coming along T, but IMO, 4th line still seems a little shaky. I'd much rather have a more solidified 4th line with maybe one bubble rotation.

I don't have much faith in Almond, Bulmer or Schroeder. Stands to be a reason these guys have become career AHL players. Aside from Schoeder, Almond and Bulmer have been stuck in the Wild AHL affiliate for years in an organization who up until just the last two seasons has had multiple question marks at all levels of the starting line up.

Granted some guys take longer to develop, I still don't see any of those 3 making an impact. I think there's something to be said about a team that allows there 1st round pick to walk after only 2 seasons in Schroeder(not to mention being ranked 5th overall in the 2009 draft). Obviously something not going well with his transition from college to the pros.

I don't suspect we'll see him in a Wild sweater anytime soon. If ever.

Bulmer is 22 and still in his entry level deal. He really hasn't been buried, he's been hurt. I would agree with the assessment on Almond, though.

What would the Wild look for if they were to move Zucker? The Penguins need young guys with top 6 potential, and i think with his speed, he could fit in nicely with Sid.
