Any see the game that wants to give some insight? I caught very little on the radio. I did see that we outshot them and got a couple of goals on the PP, which is good. Wish I could have seen the Tolchinsky to Terry pass...

Cam Ward can't catch poop with his glove hand, that's essentially all I took away from the game.

That and the Canes had forceful zone entries and were conscious of maintaining possession, which was nice.

What in the world has happened to Cam Ward?! I wonder how much of it is mental...

That is outstanding and fully in line with what Peters stated that he wanted to implement. If that can be maintained (and complimented by some solid goaltending) this could be a decent year, at least in terms of seeing a competitive team night in and night out.

It's disappointing to say the least. Admittedly, he faced some very difficult shots and was hung out to dry a couple times, but the pattern is the same as it was last season, which is worrisome.

Yeah, I saw a lot of comments indicating that while quantity wasn't an issue, the quality of the chances given up didn't bode well for either goalie, though you need your keeper to keep out at least a few of those. I remember the days when I had full confidence in Wardo, no matter the opposition. Unfortunately too many of us, even the die-hard Cam supporters, get the polar opposite reaction these days. Here's to hoping he's got enough fight in him to turn it around. If not, at least we don't have a barren wasteland in net.

…makes me wonder what ole Johnny Grahame is up to these days…

…I keed, I keed...
