GARTH'S CORNER: Bullseye Is On Nikita

Really getting psyched about this year...I just love that everyone thinks we're gonna totally suck, and you can't even post a bit of optimism about this team without a Sabres "fan" talking about McEichel. Just look at the interviews with all these players on Sabres.com and you can see this is a much different team than last year. Coaches, management, New Veterans and young guys with more experience.

If this group can bond together as a real Team they have a long shot chance at making a run for a playoff spot. The D-core looks better than last year, the goaltending should be solid and if they can just get some scoring they will at least have a chance to win some games. Lets give this group a chance before we all "dishonor for Connor".

Nope. With the young talent in the organization, 3 first rounders in a deep draft and a GM with vision we don't need McEichel to build a winner.

If we get one of them great. Otherwise, we'll still be in great shape moving forward.
