These tournaments are kind of crap shoots though are they not ? I mean how much time do these kids get to practice together or find any chemistry it's kind of like the world jrs in a sense that the teams like Finland and Sweden who have the majority of their team playing together all year do very well not there are any teams in this tourney who play all year together but it would seems to be teams who find the most chemistry the fasted win

it's an introduction to the nhl game for the youngins and it's how their game stacks up against their peers...I don't take it too seriously, but if certain deficiencies make their way to the fore, it should be noted

No for sure and I have said I wish the devils prospects participated but I just meant it's a team game and chemistry can play a big role sometimes it's nothing to get super worked up about as it doesn't mean your top picks aren't as good as you had hoped

Wouldn't put much into this... I listened to both games and I would guess we had the puck about 90% of each game and sounded dominant. Both goalies we played stood on their heads.

I hear ya...sometimes people get worked up over very little...when it comes to Reinhart, I was and am good with the pick...bennett was more of the style of player i liked at that pick, but it's hard too pass up what reinhart has to offer

have to disagree on the Carolina game...their goalie Alex Nedeljkovic said after the game, “I saw nothing but pucks."...Rags goalie skapski made a some really nice saves, but Cassidy said that the players weren't getting any traffic in front...there's a huge difference between scoring in junior and scoring in the pros...something the youngins need to lerarn

With our def playing this well and Manuel being only a touch over 50% passing comp with no touchdowns is something to worry about.

What he's doing today is mixed, but most importantly, it's winning.

The announcing team doing this game is beyond awful.

So far, so good! The D played amazing in the 1st half...Miami adjusted somewhat to a quicker hit play style ... But the boys hung in there and put points on the board when it mattered.

This is true.

I'm thrilled at this start, but 2008 taught me not to get cocky. Going to enjoy it when they win, and immediately shrug it off when they lose.
