Thanks Eric. I live in the DC area, but grew up a Flyers, and Caps fan. I guess the main reason for being a Caps fan is that I was able to watch a lot of games, and get to know the players; it also doesn't hurt that I am able to go to a few games during the season. And yes, I also lived in the Philly area while I was growing up.
I am glad to see that the preseason games will be televised. I was wondering with this new alliance between Comcast, and NBC, if those games would ever be shown.
Also, kudos to Comcast for televising some Flyers games during the season, when the Caps are not on the schedule. I love being able to watch my flyers in HD.
One last comment. When I did have Comcast, I would only be able to watch one game a night in HD. According to the NHL radio network, on satellite radio, it was up to the station broadcasting as to what format the game was shown. I question this, because on DirecTV, which I now have, I get most of the games televised in HD. So, if you have a better answer for this situation, let me know what that would be.
Keep the Caps news coming, and thanks again.
